Name: Eikichi Mishina
Nickname: "Michel"
Age: 18
DOB: 11/15
Hair color: Blue (actually black?)
Eye color: Reddish brown
Height: 6'1''
Weight: 136 lbs
ビュウチフル * ナイス * ガイ!
...Eccentric. Narcissistic. Vocalist and leader of a band called Gas Chamber (haha, I know), which is really more a no-name high-school garage band affair than anything. Dreams of widespread fame. Goes into contacts with new acquaintances with the default assumption that they must be his fans, be it because of his music or because he's just that cool. A fundamentally good-hearted person. Extremely hotheaded and violent. Gang leader of his entire school: don't fuck with his rules and you'll be treated right. Eager to play the hero if circumstances arise that mean a lot to him. Unshakably loyal and devoted to the people he really cares about. Refuses to be seen as ordinary. Falls into and can go with the flow in bizarre situations very easily. Afraid of only one thing: his dad. Has a tendency to strike poses when he's just standing around-- it's like a tic that he just can't help. Goes home and practices cool poses in front of the mirror a lot. Can see very precisely into a person's character, and can quickly tell when people are lying. Has a tradition of beating the crap out of his enemies, and then topping it all off by pulling their pants down. Can't stand fish in any way, shape, or form. Won't eat meat for fear of getting fat again. Loves singing, but loves the feeling of holding the microphone and reveling in how cool he is more.
Dyes his hair blue and puts on makeup in the bathroom every day before school. Why is this, you ask? Well. Eikichi's father happens to be a sushi chef. A very, very traditional one, who's all gung-ho about what it means to be A REAL MAN!!111 He also claims to be a master of about eighteen different types of martial arts, and Eikichi believes him. Thus... the boy is almost deliriously scared of his dad, and of pissing him off. Which is easy, especially when you like dressing and acting like a femmy goth-boy J-rocker for the rest of the world. Eikichi is terrified of his father seeing him the way he really wants to be, but he's not willing to be seen as anything but larger-than-life by anyone else. So he leaves home a normal-looking boy, changes clothes/puts on the makeup/dyes his hair in the bathroom, and then washes it all away before he comes home. The few times he DOES get caught by his dad, he claims that he's participating in a school festival. Eheh. Carries around a gun hidden in a guitar case. You can't tell me that's not awesome.
Eikichi was a chubby geek when he was a wee one, and got picked on. He had a "girlfriend" in elementary school named Miyabi, but the embarrassment of being pantsed in front of her drove something of a wedge between them. A little later, teeny Eikichi heard from one of Miyabi's friends that she hated fat people. Eikichi was extremely hurt by this, whether or not it was true (though the fact that she ultimately ate her way into obesity as a kind of atonement would indicate that it probably was, at least a little). They lost touch after that, and Eikichi vowed to better himself. So over the next ten years, he gave up the drawing and took up music instead, became a vegetarian and lost a ton of weight, began wearing makeup, a skirt-lookin' tunic over his uniform pants, and dying his hair blue (all behind the back of his father), and in short turned into a total stud. Somewhere along the line his Persona awakened, and he used its power to become the "boss" of his high school.
His Persona(s: first Rhadamanthus and then Hades) earned him the nickname "Captain Death." However, because of his tendency to pull down the underwear of his victims, whispers fly about the legendary "Captain Pants" instead. He's very, very sensitive about this nickname, since to him it evokes memories of a childhood filled with humiliation.
ペルソナ!
Eikichi is the product of a parallel universe that came into being when he and his friends failed to save their world. For the sake of a second chance, they resolved to give up their memories of ever having known one another, having learned that their shared childhood was the catalyst for all the chaos around them. But one of Eikichi's friends, Tatsuya Suou, secretly refused to give up his memories. The resulting paradox in the new dimension-- "This Side," as opposed to the previous "Other Side"-- created a whole new set of dangers to the parallel world. Eikichi didn't have to regain his memories of that previous life, but due to the choices of Tatsuya and people they both once knew on the Other Side, he did. The sorrow of that knowledge weighing him down after all was said and done and the world saved again, Eikichi had to get out of not only Sumaru City, but the world at large.
